What we collect and why

When you contact us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, company (if given), email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you and, where relevant, to discuss working together. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and taking steps at your request before any engagement.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) to keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and reliability of the site.

Analytics and cookies. This site keeps cookies to a minimum. If we enable website analytics, it is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used; where that relies on non-essential cookies we ask for your consent first. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, acting on our instructions: our hosting provider (Infomaniak, in Switzerland/EU) and our email provider. Where any provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to certain processing, or receive your data in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email hello@brisk.media. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
